Can I remove or delete the Don't Play section?
The Don't Play section is a built-in part of every Vibo event, so it can't be deleted entirely. You do, however, have full control over who sees it and who can add to it — including hiding it completely from your hosts.
How to hide the Don't Play section from your hosts
To stop hosts from seeing or adding to the Don't Play section, change its visibility so only you (the DJ) can see it:
Open your event and go to the Timeline & Music tab.
Find the Don't Play section.
Click the three dots menu (⋯) next to the section name in the left timeline panel (or the gear icon on the section title), then choose Section settings.
Under Permissions → "Who will see this section," set it to DJ only.
Click Done.
Once visibility is set to DJ only, your hosts won't see the Don't Play section at all, so they can't add songs to it. It stays fully visible and editable for you.
What about guests?
Guests only ever see sections marked as Public, and they can't mark a song as Don't Play. So the Don't Play section is never visible to guests, and guests can't add to it by design.
If it looks like a guest has added to it, they're most likely joined to the event with a host role — you can confirm and adjust this under the event's People tab.
How to limit how many songs can be added
If you'd rather keep the section visible to your host but cap how many songs land in it, set a song limit:
Open Section settings for the Don't Play section (three dots ⋯ → Section settings).
Under Songs, use Song limit to set the maximum number of songs allowed.
Click Done.
FAQ
Can I permanently delete the Don't Play section?
No, it's a fixed section in every event, but you can hide it from your hosts by setting its visibility to DJ only.
Will hiding it delete the songs already in it?
No. Changing visibility only controls who can see the section — any songs already there stay in place for you.
Can guests add songs to the Don't Play section?
No. Guests only see Public sections and can't mark songs as Don't Play. If a guest appears to have added to it, check their role under the People tab — they may be joined as a host.
Do I have to set this on every event?
For now, yes — these permissions are applied per section on each event (a global permissions setting is coming soon). You can bake the setting into a template so new events start the way you want.
