Can I sign up for Vibo if I'm not a DJ?

Vibo is designed for DJs, but you're welcome to use it for your own wedding, event business, or band. Here's how signing up and pricing works.

What Vibo is built for

Vibo is a subscription-based event planning app designed around the DJ's workflow — managing events, building playlists, collaborating with clients, and prepping music for performance. That's the core use case, and most of our customers are DJs.

That said, the tool is useful beyond DJs. If you want to subscribe and plan your own event, coordinate events for your business, or manage music for your wedding band, you're welcome to.

Planning your own wedding?

For the wedding couple.

Vibo is a subscription-based professional event-planning software. If you are hosting an event and want to use Vibo for yourself, you've got two paths:

Option 1 — Your DJ already uses Vibo (or would use it). Ask your DJ to sign up for Vibo and subscribe to either the monthly or yearly plan. Once they're set up, they can create the event and add you as the Host. That's the role made for clients planning their events. You'll be able to add songs, answer questions, and share the event link with guests. Your account as the Host has no extra cost. This is the easiest path if your DJ is already using Vibo or is open to subscribing.

Option 2 — No DJ, or a DIY setup. You can subscribe to Vibo yourself. Your account will have full DJ access, which means you can create the event, build the timeline, pick songs, and invite your partner as a co-host.

Wedding planner, band, or entertainment company?

For professionals who aren't DJs

You can subscribe to Vibo the same way a DJ would. Whether you're a wedding planner coordinating the music side of events, a band leader managing your setlists and client requests, or an entertainment company owner running the show, the tool works for you.

When you sign up, your account becomes a DJ-level account with full access to everything — templates, events, Prep Mode, Vibo Scanner, PDF exports, client collaboration, and all the rest. If you run a team, you can also add team members to your account.

How to sign up

  1. First, if you still don't have an account, please sign up in web.vibodj.com/.

  2. Once you have your account, please go to web.vibodj.com/checkout.

  3. Pick the plan that works for you — monthly or yearly.

  4. Follow the checkout steps to create your account.

Once you're signed up, your account is a full DJ-level account — you can create events, build templates, and do everything a DJ account can do. No extra setup needed.

What it costs

Vibo is the same price for everyone:

  • $179 per month, or

  • $1,799 per year (works out cheaper if you're planning to use Vibo for longer than about 10 months).

If you want to add extra team members to your account, that's $20/month or $200/year per additional user.

FAQ

Is Vibo free for brides or hosts?

Vibo is free to use if you've been invited as a Host by a DJ who already has a subscription. If you want to run the event yourself without involving a DJ, you'll need your own subscription.

If I sign up, will my account look like a DJ account?

Yes. In Vibo, "DJ" is the account type that can create events — it's not about whether you're a DJ by profession. You can set your name, photo, and profile to reflect who you actually are.

Can my partner help plan the wedding with me?

Yes. Once you have a subscription and you've created the event, you can invite your partner as a Host so they can add songs, answer planning questions, and share the event link with guests.

What if I'm not sure whether Vibo is right for me?

Drop us a message in chat and tell us what you're trying to do. We're happy to help you figure out if Vibo fits — and if it doesn't, we'll tell you honestly.
