Event Statuses

Understanding Pending, Active, and Locked Statuses

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Event statuses help DJs manage events and control participant permissions effectively. Here's what each status means:

In Vibo, these statuses also determine client permissions and the ability to access embedded links, ensuring streamlined event management.

๐ŸŸ  Pending

  • Purpose: This status is similar to "Active" but serves as a reminder for the DJ that the event hasnโ€™t been officially booked yet.

  • Functionality: All participants can perform actions allowed by their permissions, just like in the "Active" status.

๐ŸŸข Active

  • Purpose: Marks the event as officially underway.

  • Functionality: All participants can fully interact with the event as per their permissions until it is locked.

  • Locking Options: Events automatically lock on the lockout date or can be manually locked by the DJ.

๐Ÿ”ด Locked

  • Purpose: Finalizes the event to prevent further changes by participants.

  • Functionality: Only DJs can make changes to the event after it is locked.

  • How to Lock: The event locks automatically on the lockout date or can be manually locked via the Event Home screen > General settings.

  • Editing Restrictions: When an event is locked, clients cannot make edits, including answering review questions or adding/modifying songs.

  • Access to Links: Despite being locked, clients can click and access embedded links in their Vibo file, though interactive edits remain disabled.

โœ… If you're a host and your event has been locked, (but you still want to perform changes)- kindly ask your DJ to remove the lock on your event.

Events In History section

  • Purpose: Indicates that the event has been completed and shifted to the "History" tab for archival purposes.

  • Functionality: Clients can make edits as long as the event is unlocked. Once locked, editing is disabled, though link accessibility remains unaffected.
